Description Of The Gore-Tex used in the Hi Viz jacket
GORE-TEX: The GORE-TEX membrane is made of expanded PTFE (Polytetrafluorideethylene) with a micro porous structure made of 1.4 million micro pores per square centimetre, each one 20,000 times smaller tan a water molecule and 700 times bigger than a water vapour molecule. This means that performances in terms of waterproofing and breathability are higher than the EN 343 standard requirements.
Description Of The 3M SCOTCHLITE used in the Hi Viz jacket
3M SCOTCHLITE: Reflective Material. The backward reflecting bands 3M Scotchlite 8910 makes visible and identifiable those who work at night or by any other condition of scarce luminosity. They meet all requirements established by EN471:2003 standards placing themselves in the highest class of refractivity (Class 2). They resist minimum 50 water-washings at 60 degrees Celsius and at least 20 dry-cleanings.
